Metallic Acoustic Screens
INSAMETAL SA manufactures, supplies and installs this type of metal composite shielding. They provide the durability and strength that most of our customers desire. The material is lighter than concrete and the resistance is similar.
Steel or aluminum metal panels are the preferred alternative for customers as they are an effective and cheap material to use for acoustic soundproofing. Acoustic screens are made up of two sides, one absorbent and the other reflective or insulating.Â
The absorbent side is oriented towards the noise zone, which is designed with small perforations to absorb traffic noise, while the other side is smooth and is only responsible for isolating noise. Inside, the soundproofing functions are carried out by rock wool, which is composed of sound-absorbing material, with variable thicknesses and densities depending on what the client desires.
The plates are supported by HEA/HEB type steel profiles with a welded anchor plate. Steel profiles can be reinforced with IPE profiles to increase the resistance of the structure.Â
The quality of the elements is S-275-JR or similar in accordance with the EN 10025 standard. Our panels can be assembled and manufactured quickly. They are environmentally friendly and achieve good thermal and long-lasting performance.
