Insametal supplies and installs concrete sound-absorbing acoustic panels for railway and road infrastructures as a solution to noise attenuation.

Concrete panels are chosen for their stability and resistance over time. Its design prevents excessive noise and has high durability. The composition of the panel is ideal to withstand the passage of time.

The concrete noise barrier is composed of reinforced concrete HA-45/P/12 silicon aggregate, with 6 mm B500S steel mesh. every 15 cm. and up to 13 cm. of corrugated porous concrete, formed by siliceous aggregate (4-8), washed sand and cement.

The panel is supported and fitted between the steel pillars which receive a galvanized and powder coated treatment.

  • Height and width: The panels can be 0.5 meters for the smallest, 1 meter for the medium and 2 meters for the largest. They are usually all 4 meters wide between the metal posts.
  • Approximate weight: 2200Kg
  • Number of layers: It is divided into two layers:
    • Sound-absorbing Porous Concrete: Concrete formed by larger gravel that makes the texture porous and better absorbs noise.
    • Load-bearing Conventional Concrete: Conventional concrete whose interior retains the metal mesh that provides stability and rigidity inside.
  • Metal pillars: Steel pillars that contribute to the effective anchoring of the acoustic barrier. The steel has an S-275-JR or similar classification and the powder coating can be any RAL color.

It can also optionally have a methacrylate upper panel that acts as a transparent screen of smaller proportions.
