Methacrylate Acoustic Panels
These transparent screens, unlike metal noise barriers, only have the characteristic of acoustic insulation, they do not absorb.
They are mainly made of colorless or colored polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) that fit between stiffening frames that go into the supporting structure.
The panels can receive coloring as well as ornamental and decorative elements for better integration into the environment. There are different color ranges of methacrylate, the most common used for these types of projects are crystal color and ice blue color.
The purpose of acoustic protection depends on the material used. The most common is methacrylate, but it can vary depending on what the client demands.
