INSA P68 Noise Barrier
INSAMETAL offers INSA P68 metal acoustic screens in steel and aluminum options. Designed to combat noise pollution caused by road and rail traffic, this range has been meticulously tailored to optimize acoustic effectiveness. The sandwich panels, with their profiled geometry, offer greater wind resistance, and their installation is quick and efficient thanks to the side covers.
The INSA P68 panel is composed of two distinct metal elements: a perforated absorbent face that faces the noise source and a smooth reflective face. Inside, it houses a rock wool sheet with sound-absorbing properties and customizable thicknesses according to acoustic requirements.
Reflective Face: Blind profile
Sound-absorbing filling: rock wool
Absorbent Side: Perforated profile
Mechanical Characteristics
Height: 0.5 m (1.64 ft)
Length: 1000-5000 mm
Thickness: 110 mm
Acoustic Characteristics
Absorption class: A4
Noise absorption index (DLa): 15
Insulation class: B3
Sound insulation index (DLr): 26
Weighted overall insulation (dB): 32 (-2, -6)
The support structure is made from a wide range of high-quality steel profiles complying with standard EN 10025-2. All components can be pre-galvanized by hot-dip galvanizing according to UNE-EN ISO 1461 and powder-coated in any RAL color chart in accordance with EN 15773.
The profiles are anchored to the foundation with bolts of varying length and diameter depending on the project requirements. The foundation is chosen based on the terrain and wind resistance, with reinforced concrete piles or footings being the most common.
Our powder coating process offers superior protection against adverse weather conditions, heat, and sun exposure. The process includes pretreatment, drying, a paint booth, and a polymerization process in an oven.

Proven Acoustic Efficiency
Various studies have shown that INSA P68 acoustic screens significantly reduce noise levels from road and rail traffic. Rated with an impressive insulation level of 26 dB (B3) and absorption of 15 dB (A4), they offer an effective solution for minimizing noise pollution in urban and rural environments.
Reinforced Mechanical Resistance
Technical research demonstrates that the profiled geometry of sandwich panels provides a significant improvement in wind load resistance, ensuring the durability and stability of the system. The quality of the elements, which comply with EN 10346, guarantees exceptional performance under a variety of conditions.
Customization According to Requirements
Developed based on experience and data obtained from different densities and thicknesses, the panels incorporate a layer of high-quality rock wool as a sound-absorbing material. This allows each solution to be tailored to the specific acoustic needs of each project, providing a customized response to noise pollution.
Strict Regulatory Compliance
INSA P68 panels are designed and tested according to EN 1793 and EN 1794 standards, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. These results support the product's reliability and effectiveness in real-world environments.
Integrated Aesthetics
In addition to their proven functionality, INSA P68 panels offer an aesthetic design that blends harmoniously into their surroundings. The powder-coated finish, available in a wide range of RAL colors, not only provides protection against adverse conditions but also contributes to an attractive and long-lasting appearance.
