Mixed acoustic screen on the roof of the Kubo building (Madrid)

A mixed acoustic screen has been manufactured and installed in the Kubo building in Madrid, designed to optimize noise reduction in the surrounding area.

The structure combines two types of panels: the INSA P68 metal acoustic panel has been installed at the bottom, while the upper part incorporates transparent INSA PMMA-15 methacrylate panels, allowing effective acoustic attenuation without losing luminosity.

The screen was custom-designed, adapting to the perimeter and height of the space to ensure a sound-absorbing enclosure. A prefabricated door with sound-absorbing properties was also included, maintaining the same insulation properties as the rest of the installation.

This project reinforces the commitment to acoustic comfort without compromising the functionality or design of the architectural environment.

Kubo Building Location (Madrid)

Total measurement 268 square meters

Height of the metal screen 1 meter

Height of the methacrylate screen 2.05 meters
