These tests accomplish with standards road safety regulations depending on the vehicle that may compromise the parapet. They must be made with specific materials and must be assembled according to the regulation.

These parapets can also have metal meshes behind these tubes to protect pedestrians driving along the shoulder of the road. These parapets can be painted with any RAL colour.

Hot Galvanized according to UNE in ISO 1461:

The regulation defines the hot galvanized as the formation or zinc coating in steel. Steel is submerged in a 450º molten zinc bath that causes that zinc be stuck on steel surface.

Duplex System (Hot Galvanized + Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773):

We apply both procedures sequentially. Hot galvanized and thermo-lacquer. It is based on apply polyester powder to galvanized surfaces when is required a better result in corrosion proofing or when seeking a better aesthetical.

This parapet is usually put on roads or overpasses where vehicle traffic and their speed can suppose a risk of leaving the road if there is a dangerous situation on this road. Therefore, most of the parapets are curved tough tubes.

H3 parapets are prepared to withstand the load of vehicles that are not heavy. This parapet is prepared to avoid crash deformation because of its firm grip, durability and material used.

In addition, an anchoring edge beam reinforces the durability of the parapets posts in order to heavy collision. This makes the parapet fixed to concrete.
