Steel Bollard Barriers

The Steel Bollards Barriers restrict the circulation of vehicles on determinate roads. Bollards have a constant height and they are separated from each other with the purpose that vehicles can’t sneak in.

 

These bollards guarantee safety in junctions, streets or intersections where pedestrians move. Bollards provide an important safety function in the free movement of pedestrians.

These types of bollards barriers are tough and they are installed at a certain height separation and anchored to accomplish a better protection.

 

These bollards are statically, not automatically o machining. They can be painted in different colours and can be illuminated according to client priorities.

They are exist three types of treatments:

Hot Galvanized according to UNE in ISO 1461:

The regulation defines the hot galvanized as the formation or zinc coating in steel. Steel is submerged in a 450º molten zinc bath that causes that zinc be stuck on steel surface.

The primary aim of this procedure consists in prevent the steel rusting and corrosion that could be caused by moisture and environment pollution.

Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773:

It is a process that applies a powder covering in thin layers to metal prepared to be placed into an oven and bakes it.

The architectural quality of polyester powder allows giving the better characteristics for a clean process of powdering and provides to good tough with a better aesthetical.

Duplex System (Hot Galvanized + Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773):

We apply both procedures sequentially. Hot galvanized and thermo-lacquer. It is based on apply polyester powder to galvanized surfaces when is required a better result in corrosion proofing or when seeking a better aesthetical.

Bollards prevent vehicles from passing through determinate places and, by this way, prevent traffic accidents. Its installation is easy and quick, as is its manufacturing.

 

They are cheaper and they don’t need maintenance thanks to a treatment that already installed in and cushions the shocks efficiently.

Bollards are anchored by an anchor plate that leaves the structure fixed to the concreted floor. The anchor plate is attached through mechanical bolts.
