Road Safety Parapets and Barriers

From our company, we are dedicated to road safety in railways and roads. We supply and install safety barriers and different parapets.

Safety Barriers guarantee the protection of users reducing the impact and preventing that the vehicle can fall off the road.

These containment systems are regulated in the General Technical Requirements for road and bridge works (PG-3) according to the Article 704 (Order of 28 December 1999 that explain of general technical requirements for road and bridge referring the vehicle containment systems). The selection of the level of containment protection is carried out with the circumstance that each section of road needs.

 

Steel Parapets

INSAMETAL supplies and installs metal parapets with different levels of containment (H2, H3 and H4b). These are safety barriers designed for them installation in pedestrian passages and roads as bridges, viaducts, etc. In addition, the technical department has opened an innovation process for the development of new metal safety parapets.

Steel Road Parapet H2

This steel road parapet H2 is a vehicle containment system designed for his installation on boards but also for other cases such as support walls and mountain sections. It is approved by the European standard EN 1317.

 

The CE marking of this product shows excellent results got in rigorous computational tests and in the final full-scale crash test performed by an accredited laboratory passing the TB11 and TB51 tests.
