Modular Maintenance Ladders

The maintenance ladders are very reliable as they can be with or without handrail rings. These ladders have these handrails to secure the worker, preventing any accident. These handrails can carry out with or without back protector.

 

 

• Modular ladders omitting the back protector: This ladder is vertically fixed and doesn’t have handrail rings. It is fixed to the concrete wall by a metal anchor.

 

• Modular ladders with back protector: This ladder is vertically fixed and has a handrail ring to ensure the worker. The worker cannot fall over backwards because of this handrail has a shape like a cage. It is fixed to the concrete wall by a metal anchor.

 

• Prefabricated ladder with metal handrail: This ladder is fixed and includes handrails on one side or both sides to ensure the worker. Is fixed to concrete wall by a metal anchors. The floor and stairs can be composed of Tramex or metal sheets.

Ladders have rough steps to get a good grip. These ladders are galvanized steel and can resist a long lifetime because of their toughness.

They are exist three types of treatments:

Hot Galvanized according to UNE in ISO 1461:

The regulation defines the hot galvanized as the formation or zinc coating in steel. Steel is submerged in a 450º molten zinc bath that causes that zinc be stuck on steel surface.

The primary aim of this procedure consists in prevent the steel rusting and corrosion that could be caused by moisture and environment pollution.

Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773:

It is a process that applies a powder covering in thin layers to metal prepared to be placed into an oven and bakes it.

The architectural quality of polyester powder allows giving the better characteristics for a clean process of powdering and provides to good tough with a better aesthetical.

Duplex System (Hot Galvanized + Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773):

We apply both procedures sequentially. Hot galvanized and thermo-lacquer. It is based on apply polyester powder to galvanized surfaces when is required a better result in corrosion proofing or when seeking a better aesthetical.

This cage-shaped ladder can be used in outdoor or indoor of buildings, bridges and overpasses. It offers the best safeness design to ensure the worker inside these handrail rings.

 

The ladder depends on its function, since it has grips and bolts that ensure the structure’s stability. These elements are anchored to the concrete wall and floor.
