Metallic Acoustic Barriers

Steel panel or aluminium panel usually are one of the favourite options for our clients. Both materials are effective and cheaper. Both are the perfect option for acoustic soundproofing.

The most demanded is steel, which we galvanize and thermo-lacquer. The last appearance is thermo-lacquered in any RAL colour the client wants.

 

The absorbent side of the panel is pointed to the noise zone. This side has small perforations to absorb the noise. Besides, opposed side is smooth and has noise isolation properties.

 

Inside the panel, rock wool has the soundproofing function. This material can be of different thickness and densities depending on the client’s wants.

They are exist three types of treatments:

Hot Galvanized according to UNE in ISO 1461:

The regulation defines the hot galvanized as the formation or zinc coating in steel. Steel is submerged in a 450º molten zinc bath that causes that zinc be stuck on steel surface.

The primary aim of this procedure consists in prevent the steel rusting and corrosion that could be caused by moisture and environment pollution.

Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773:

It is a process that applies a powder covering in thin layers to metal prepared to be placed into an oven and bakes it.

The architectural quality of polyester powder allows giving the better characteristics for a clean process of powdering and provides to good tough with a better aesthetical.

Duplex System (Hot Galvanized + Thermo-lacquer according to UNE in 15773):

We apply both procedures sequentially. Hot galvanized and thermo-lacquer. It is based on apply polyester powder to galvanized surfaces when is required a better result in corrosion proofing or when seeking a better aesthetical.

This acoustic panel consist in two sides that absorb and isolate from the noise. The panel is placed between HEA/HEB steel beams welded on an anchor plate. Steel profiles can be reinforced using HEAA beams with an IPE beam to get a toughness structure.

 

The quality of these elements is S-275-JR or similar according to EN 10025 regulation. Our panels can be assembled and manufactured quickly. These panels respect the environment and get a good thermal performance and a good lifetime.

The procedure of anchoring on foundations is simple. We calculate length, diameter and quality of bolts that after are placed in foundations to get the optimal anchoring.

 

This procedure provides a better stability to withstand considerable wind gusts.
